Pärnu is an amicable and welcoming city. The intrinsic hospitality of the local people and the opportunities offered by the city are combined in the services with the aim of helping you enjoy your stay in the city. Our aim is to unite all local service providers and offer you assistance in finding meeting facilities and milieu that suits you best.

Local support is provided for planning and arranging conferences in Pärnu. In 2004 a non-profit association Pärnu Convention Bureau was founded in the initiative of ten meeting service providers and the city government.

The objectives of the Pärnu Convention Bureau  is to introduce Pärnu as a year-round functioning destination for conference and incentive tourism, coordinate conferences from marketing to organisation and unite all providers of related basic and ancillary services.

The functions of Pärnu Convention Bureau  are as follows:

• recommending suitable meeting facilities;
• providing comprehensive and unbiased information on hotels and meeting facilities, including quotations;
• offering support to arrange incentive programmes, excursions and guided tours;
• organising familiarization trips to representatives of professional conference organisers, destination management companies and media;
• providing information and materials which introduce Pärnu as a MICE-destination;
• compiling and maintaining a database on conference service providers;
• providing ground-handling services for international conference organisers.
